AFG U.S counterparts on a roll in bakery segment

The `dough` (in USD that is) should start filling the corporate coffers after the U.S. received its first taste of the Aga Foodservice Group`s terrific trio: Adamatic, Belshaw and Victory Refrigeration. These three Group members made a debut trade appearance under the AFG banner at the Retail Bakery Association show in Atlantic City, New Jersey from October 6-8.

With a total of 2,400 square feet between two booths, these companies made a strong showing to the U.S. bakery industry. Not only did they demonstrate core products like Adamatic Combination Lines, Oven, Proofers and Dividers, as well as Victory Blast Chillers, but they also introduced the U.S. to Mono Depositors (which will be branded and distributed through Adamatic) and Mono Convection ovens (which will be branded and distributed through Belshaw). The highlight of the show, however, had to be that great new invention brought to us by Belshaw & The Thermoglaze! As the hot, freshly glazed donuts rolled off the line, the crowd was so great, you would have thought it was a police convention! If only Belshaw produced a coffee machine...

Much interest in the group and its products were generated at the show. "This show marks the beginning of a new era for the Group. The collaboration between our U.K. counterparts and these three strong U.S. companies will pave the way for us to take a foothold in the US foodservice and bakery markets," said, Iain J. Whyte, President of Aga Foodservice Inc. Look for the terrific trio to strike again in 2003 at Pizza Expo in Las Vegas this March, FMI at Chicago in May and NAFEM in New Orleans in September.
