Knightsbridge and Perth Aga Shops raise funds for Breast Cancer Care

During the month of June, a number of Aga shops lent their support to Breast Cancer Care’s ‘Strawberry Tea’ fundraising initiative. The opportunity of baking fresh Aga cakes and hosting a tea for a worthy cause, proved to be a perfect temptation for the Aga shops in Perth and Knightsbridge.

The Aga shop Perth held an open day, where a delicious assortment of teatime treats, were on offer throughout the afternoon. Their efforts were well supported with just over £270 being raised through donations for Aga made cake, a raffle and a ‘guess the weight of the cake’ competition.

The Knightsbridge shop also contributed to the cause, with staff member (and baking fanatic) Rosie Webster, whipping up scones, strawberry jam tartlets and peach and strawberry torte. The torte proved to be everyone’s favourite, but the talking point of the afternoon was without doubt, the £10 donation from one customer for a single jam tartlet! In total the shop managed to raise over £100 for the charity.

What a great effort from both of these stores! We look forward to seeing how much they raise next year.
