Today sees the launch of Fired Earth’s Original Shaker Kitchen Collection – a collection that has been developed in collaboration with sister company Grange from original Shaker designs. The range is beautifully crafted from the finest materials and works well in contemporary as well as traditional spaces.
It consists of free-standing modular kitchen units including the sink-unit, dresser and larder, a choice of 5 tables and chairs, together with worktops and accessories such as peg rails, hanging shelves and hanging cupboards, to create a semi-fitted appearance. They are available in 7 colours from the Fired Earth paint palette - Verd-Antique, Tuscan Earth, Dragons Blood, Ultramarine Ashes, Dutch White Plumbago and Malachite - and a ‘brushed’ finish.
‘Original Shaker’ is handmade by skilled craftsman at our workshops in France and the quality and attention to detail are immediately apparent. The kitchen worktops are made of solid planked Cherry sealed with Danish oil. Solid wood extends to the carcasses which are made of solid beech, both of which give great durability as well as style. Despite this attention to detail and the use of only the best materials, the range is surprisingly affordable.
