Amana, the makers of commercial microwaves, have recently been recognised as a contributing supplier to McDonald’s Innovation Centre for a proposal which has led to an active project within the McDonald’s Innovation Center.
Amana’s project was a solution to work flow issues experienced by McDonald’s and has resulted in a current product under development. A few of the requirements the new product had to meet included a smaller footprint, ergonomic design, and reduced cook times. The Amana Commercial solution is being integrated into McDonald’s new Flexible Operating Platform that is targeted for global application.
