Aga Foodservice focuses in on more efficient use of energy

5th December 2005

Aga Foodservice Group has recently undertaken a significant research project looking at energy consumption and appliance efficiency in the commercial kitchen and has identified an area that can potentially save ‘13.5million tonnes of carbon dioxide’ and ‘reduce energy consumption by 30%’.

The savings in carbon dioxide emissions from one large commercial kitchen are the equivalent of taking 61 petrol cars off the road.

Aga Foodservice Group is calling on the Government and the UK’s foodservice industry to recognise the commercial kitchen as a high energy consumer in need of regulation.
