Local produce was the focus of the day at the Aga Shop Horsham on the 14th of June. A varied selection of local producers were on hand during the event, giving out samples of their fine foods and selling their goods to visiting customers. Aga Demonstrator Peter Hughes entertained guests by creating fantastic Aga cooked dishes throughout the day. Peter’s dishes used quality ingredients from participating suppliers in the area.
Some of the firm favourites of the event included succulent pork sausages from Butcher Country Produce, Organic Chocolate for Cocoa Loco (which formed the basis of a decadent chocolate tart), Creamy, hand made cheeses from Nut Knowle Farm and fresh fruit and vegetables from Cisswood Fruit and Veg. Delicious, award-winning wines from Booker Vineyards created much interest, proving that the British wine industry is on the up and very in vogue!
