A Food Lovers Delight -The Haslemere Food Festival 2008

When it comes to an event dedicated to the best of local foods, the Haslemere food festival must be one of the best. Yet again, you can expect Aga to be taking a lively role in the festivities! The Aga shop Haslemere, will be hosting a series of great activities during the festival this September – so be sure to visit us to celebrate the diversity of delicious local foods.

Be it the apple open day, or one of our favourites – the Sausage Competition – you can be assured that the Aga shop Haslemere, will be bustling with food-focussed entertainment.

Shop Events and Dates during the Festival:

Saturday 6th September (11am – 3pm)
Launch of the Sausage Competition. Taste test the sausage entries, and see our demonstrator Deborah Miller, rustle up a variety of Aga cooked dishes.

Monday 8th September – Friday 12th September
Sausage Tasting – your opportunity to taste test the sausage competition entries, and vote for your favourite one!

Thursday 11th September (12noon-3pm)
Apples! An Open Day dedicated to the autumn apple harvest, with Deborah Miller.

Saturday 13th September (12noon – 3pm)
The Sausage Competition Final! Our competition winners will be announced in a grand prize-giving ceremony. This will take place in conjunction with an open day – so plenty of Aga cooking and taste testing will be on the go.

Tuesday 16th September (12noon-3pm)
Bonne Maman Cookery Demonstration. Using a selection of delicious jams and preserves from Bonne Maman, demonstrator Diane van Bueren will be creating delicious recipes and dishes. This is a free event – but please contact the shop to book a seat, as places are limited.

Wednesday 17th September (12noon-3pm)
Food Festival Open Day. Demonstrator Sarah Whittaker will be cooking up a delicious selection of dishes at the Aga showroom, using locally produced ingredients.

Friday 19th September (12noon – 3pm)
Thank Fish it’s Friday! A fish themed open day, hosted by Sarah Whittaker, with fresh fish supplied by Haslemere based provider - The Good Fish Shop.

Saturday 20th September (12noon-3pm)
Food Festival Food Trail. To mark the end of the food festival, we will host an open cookery day, featuring demonstrator Sarah Whittaker. Join us as we explore, cook and taste the fantastic foods that are produced in and around Haslemere.
