New Year Classes!
Let Aga Rangemaster help you get over the Christmas blues and start the New Year as you mean to go on by booking yourself onto a cookery demonstration or one of the many cookery school classes available throughout the Group.
Monday 5th January
Divertimenti Cooking with Confidence 6 part 'Absolute Beginners Course (Level One) with Martha Money - 18.30-21.30 (SOLD OUT) Divertimenti Brompton Road If the thought of holding a dinner party fills you with dread, then this is the course for you. During six action packed classes, Divertimenti's Absolute Beginners course will provide you with the know-how to cook simple everyday dinners as well as the confidence to throw dinner parties for your family and friends. As well as a traditional repertoire of basic techniques such as knife skills, simple sauces, timing and flavour combinations, you will come away with a contemporary selection of recipes to reproduce at home. The course includes modern classics such as Fish pie, Lemon roast chicken with roast sweet potatoes and Chocolate mousse, as well as more exotic dishes such as Lamb tagine, Melanzane alla Parmigiana and Thai green curry. On the final night, join your fellow students as you prepare canapés for a cocktail party to which you may invite a guest. The price of the course includes a Divertimenti apron.

Knife Skills with Claudine Boulstridge - 11.00-14.30 (SOLD OUT) Divertimenti Brompton Road Ask any professional chef and they'll tell you that knowing how to use a knife is the most important skill you can have in the kitchen. In this essential class for cooks of all levels, Claudine Boulstridge explains all the whys and hows of knife skills from how to keep your knives razor sharp to how to use your knife to slice and dice like a pro. You'll put your new found skills to work by creating a delicious meal which you'll enjoy with your class.
Thursday 8th January
Winter in Provence with Claudine Boulstridge - 11.00-13.00 (£30.00) Divertimenti Cambridge Let Claudine help you brighten up your winter with visions of the blue skies of Provence. Including Olive and thyme clafoutis, Sun dried tomato, basil and almond cake, Gratin aux cardons... and learn how to make a homemade Gateaux des rois!
Let them Eat Cake! with Sarah Benjamin - 11.00-14.30 (£99.00) Divertimenti Brompton Road As the credit crunch is upon us all, it's the perfect time to get back to basics including perfecting the fabulous art of home baking. Sarah will work with the class to create a repertoire of baking classics including a good Sponge tea cake, a light Lemon tart, an innovative flourless Chocolate cake and a seasonal Fruit tart. Join us for this heavenly day of baking. You will get to create a tempting dessert to take home for your friends or family to enjoy.

Small Bites, Italian Taste with Francesca D'Orazio Buonerba - 11.00-14.30 (£99.00) Divertimenti Marylebone High Street Join Francesca and learn how to make a sumptuous selection of fabulous finger food with authentic, traditional, Italian recipes that are perfect for entertaining whether served as appetizers or in combination to make a meal. These morsels will include; "Pizzette fritte", fried small pizza served with a spicy tomato sauce, "Fiocchi di patate", fried potato ribbons served with salami, "Fiadoncini", ricotta and herb baked "ravioli", seasoned black olives, polenta rounds with cheese and prosciutto and finally "Spiedini con la scamorza alla romana", cheese skewers with anchovies. This class will give you a taste of the real Italy.
