Where is Aga Rangemaster Group listed?

Aga Rangemaster Group plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange.  It is also listed on the FTSE4Good UK Index, an index for socially responsible investments designed by FTSE, one of the world's leading global index providers. What is the ‘ticker’ for Aga Rangemaster Group plc?

The London Stock Exchange ‘ticker’ is AGA.

My share certificate is currently in the name of Glynwed International plc.  Is this still valid?

No.  The Company names was changed to Aga Foodservice Group plc in 2001 and new share certificates were issued.  Aga Foodservice Group plc paid a special dividend on 6th June 2007 which was accompanied by a share consolidation on 14th May 2007 whereby 8 ordinary shares of 28 1/8 pence each replaced each existing 9 ordinary shares of 25 pence each.  New share certificates were issued to all shareholders on the register at 11th May 2007.

My share certificate is currently in the name of Aga Foodservice Group plc.  Is this still valid?

No.  On the 12th May 2008, following shareholder approval on 9th May 2008, the Company agreed a Return of Cash to shareholders of £1.21 per share and a share consolidation whereby 3 ordinary shares of 46 7/8 pence each replaced each existing 5 ordinary shares of 28 1/8 pence each.  The Company also changed its name from Aga Foodservice Group plc to Aga Rangemaster Group plc.  Therefore certificates in the name of Aga Foodservice Group plc are no longer valid.  If you are unable to locate the new certificate, please contact the Company's Registrars, Equiniti on 0871 600 2355 or +44 121 415 0275, if you are calling from outside the UK.

When will I receive the money resulting from the Return of Cash?

The payments of money resulting from the Return of Cash was sent to shareholders on 29th May 2008, either in accordance with mandate instructions or to the registered address.  If this has not been received, please contact the Company's Registrars, Equiniti on 0871 600 2355 or +44 121 415 0275, if you are calling from outside the UK.

Does Aga Rangemaster offer a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (the "Plan")?

The Company introduced a Dividend Reinvestment Plan on 30th March 2007.  This gives shareholders the option of using their dividend payments to buy more Aga Rangemaster Group plc shares.

Does Aga Rangemaster Group plc offer a discount to shareholders?

If you own 1,000 shares and spend £500 or more in Aga Shops, Fired Earth or Divertimenti stores you qualify for a 10% discount up to a maximum of £500 or currency equivalent.

The offer only applies to purchases made between 1st October 2007 and 30th September 2008 to individuals holding a minimum of 1,000 shares for 90 days on the date of purchase.  Shareholders may make only a single application and the maximum refund is £500.  The offer is only applicable to Aga owned stores and does not apply to dealers and distributor stores.  It cannot be used in conjuction with any other offer.  The decision of the Company will be final regarding entitlement to participate in this offer.

Am I able to apply for shareholder discount if my shares are held in a nominee account?
To apply for shareholder discount it is necessary to provide proof of your holding.  This can be done by obtaining written confirmation of your interest from the registered holder of your shares (usually the nominee company) and submitting this with your invoice and other documentation.

What is the environmental policy of Aga Rangemaster Group plc?

The Group aims to achieve high standards of operation under Environmental Protection legislation and seeks to keep all concerned aware of good industrial practice and statutory frameworks. 

Implementation of the overall policy is co-ordinated by the Group’s Environmental Co-ordinator who reports directly to the Chief Executive.  The Co-ordinator meets representatives from the Group’s major operations at regular intervals during the year to review standards and encourage improvements where appropriate.  The Policy Statement forms the basis for more detailed policies, with clearly devolved management responsibilities, appropriate to the varying circumstances of the Group’s individual operating businesses.  The full environmental report can be found in the ‘Corporate Responsibility' section of the website under ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’.

Can I have my dividends paid directly into my bank account?

You can elect to have your dividends paid directly to your sterling bank or building society account in the UK.  The benefits to you are:-

- more secure than cheques by post
- cleared funds available to you on the payment date
- no need to pay in each cheque
- avoid the inconvenience of lost, stolen or out of date cheques
- tax voucher is sent to your registered address.

Overseas shareholders – if you would prefer your dividends to be paid into an overseas bank account, please contact the Equiniti helpline on +44 121 415 7047 as arrangements can be made for certain countries.

I’ve lost my share certificate.  How can I get a new one?

If you lose your share certificate or it is stolen you should contact Equiniti immediately on 0870 600 3989.  You will be required to complete and sign a letter of indemnity confirming that if the lost share certificate is subsequently found it will be returned to the Registrars for cancellation.  There is a anadministration fee for this service. 

How do I register the death of a shareholder?

It is necessary to complete a form which can be obtained from Equiniti.  The method of re-registering the holding will depend upon the size of the estate.
Advice on the two different methods of re-registering can be found on the Equiniti Shareview website on http://www.shareview.co.uk/.

Shares held in joint names can be simply re-registered in the sole name of the other holder.  To do so Equiniti  will require:

- A photocopy of the death certificate.

- The share certificate, so that a replacement can be issued.

I’ve lost my dividend cheque/tax voucher.  What should I do?

A replacement dividend cheque/tax voucher can be obtained from Equiniti.

There is no charge if the dividend cheque is for less than £50, but for larger payments there is an administration fee of £11.75 (including VAT).  A replacement tax voucher also costs £11.75 (including VAT).
